Bethany Home

Architects created a plan for Bethany Assisted Living that allows residents to enjoy beautifully decorated private rooms in a natural residential setting. The goal for the design team was to create a structure and an atmosphere that was warm, friendly, secure, and promoted peace of mind for residents and their families. Another goal was to provide a place where residents could live with a sense of independence but have supervised care.

This traditional style assisted living facility has well-ventilated front and back porches with rocking chairs that add a “home-like” atmosphere. Painted millwork, a rich color palette, a fireplace, friendly gathering places, and large widows allow the outside to come inside creating a warm homelike environment. Each room contains the latest amenities.

Designers renovated the existing structure, added a new kitchen, and constructed open air spaces where residents can enjoy the natural surroundings. Residents receive three meals a day served in an elegant dining room. Socialization was key for administers and this is why designers created specifics areas where residents could gather, interact, and get to know one another better.
