Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta – Offices

When administrators of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta needed to update and renovate a portion of their current office space, they turned to CDH Partners for the architectural and interior design. The hospital, which is nationally known as one of the premier children’s hospitals in the country, continues to see substantial growth. It is also known as one of the “Best Places to Work.”

Architects created a plan for the 40,000 square foot space that included the demolition and reconstruction of an existing office area. The plan called for the reconfiguration of work areas, meeting and conference rooms, and gathering spaces. Administers also expressed a desire to have wireless workstations available, which eliminates the stereotypical “big office” feel where executives and directors once operated in a closed environment.

This new space is bright, functional, and supportive of a highly collaborative work environment. It is an area that reflects interaction, communication, and flexibility. It also contains a state-of-the-art resource center, meeting rooms where casual or confidential meetings take place. Support areas for employees include a coffee bar and contemporary gathering areas.

A natural color palette, along with appropriate lighting, and broadloom carpet blend together to make this well-designed office area inviting and professionally detailed.
