| This addition to Henry County Medical Center will increase the hospital’s inpatient capacity from 124 beds to 215, encompassing added beds in the new wing and renovations in the current patient care areas. The new facilities will include cardiac services and comprehensive outpatient diagnostic services strategically located in one central area. Women’s and children’s services will utilize a large portion of the new building. Antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum services, newborn nursery and neonatal intensive care will be concentrated in that facility. To ensure visitor comfort, a Hospitality Suite has been created on the second floor for visitors waiting on patients in Critical Care and Labor & Delivery. |
