Mary is the Principal over our Health and Wellness studio. Mary has over 20 years of dedicated healthcare experience with multiple major hospitals and health systems. Her understanding of evidence-based design and Lean principles aid in developing strong operational and care-delivery processes for our clients.

Mary’s client-centered approach is evidenced by her concentrations on integrated strategic planning and design, site constraints, and involving research on improving patient care. She embraces the client’s objectives by completely engaging them in the design process.

Mary has presented research on various healthcare topics at multiple national healthcare design conferences including Healthcare Design and ASHE PDC. Her presentation topics include post-occupancy evaluations, contamination prevention, and applying Lean principles in architecture and engineering practices.

She has managed healthcare projects that total more than 1.5 million square feet worth more than $1 billion in construction. Mary has extensive construction administration, design, and project management experience in a variety of healthcare project types. She is an advocate for patient and family centered design, and has been featured in a PBS documentary focusing on the care of an aging population.
