Melissa CantrellAIA, LEED AP

Principal

The educational facilities we design today have an immediate impact on those who study and work in these structures, but the process actually goes beyond this. I believe what we design today will help to shape generations to come.

With 15 years of experience in architectural design and master planning, Melissa is a recognized architect and the Leader of the Education Studio. Her broad experience in architectural design has equipped her with an expansive understanding of the challenges and needs facing today’s educational institutions as well as other public areas.

She delivers comprehensive plans and design solutions that are strategically functional as well as Aesthetically designed. She works across all architectural disciplines. Her strong communication skills bring a sense of clarity and understanding to the master planning process. She is also skilled at collaboration and bringing owners, contractors, and consultants together.

Melissa has a personal desire to see built environments used as teaching tools and catalysts for learning—not just for today but for future generations to enjoy. She is a leader within her field and regularly puts her knowledge into practice by volunteering in the educational community where she lives.
