The University of Georgia’s Ramsey Center
The University of Georgia’s Student Physical Activities Center is the largest facility of its type in the country hosting, 6,500 people a day. The center contains Olympic size swimming and diving pools, 8 basketball courts, 12 racquetball and squash courts, competition volleyball and gymnastics auditoriums, an one-eighth mile indoor jogging track, a 9,700 square foot weight room, 3 aerobic rooms, a combative arts room and a four-story climbing wall. The Center also includes a 1,500sf administrative area, a lecture hall and 10 classrooms.
An attached 70,000 square foot, three level complex houses the Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Departments.
