This Intermediate School is situated on a twenty-six acre tract, representing the first phase of a 126 acre Master Plan. The plan provides for an elementary school, middle school, district offices, warehousing/maintenance facilities and a county recreational center. The new school was specifically designed for 800 students in grades four and five and in houses thirty-two classrooms which are supported by the Media Center, Cafeteria/Food Services, an Administrative Suite and Gymnasium. It is designed with footprint space for twelve additional classrooms. White County Intermediate School is sited to take full advantage of the spectacular backdrop of Mount Yonah and the Nachoochee Valley.
