Since 1979 CDH Partners has assisted DeKalb Medical in planning more than 1,000,000 square feet of Hospital and Medical Office on the Decatur campus.  Design solutions were created to adapt to the long-term strategic initiatives of the Hospital while maintaining a patient centered philosophy. Combining outpatient service lines and maintaining critical adjacencies, helped to eliminate “sprawl” by focusing on efficient travel distances for both staff and patients. Ongoing initiatives are to create an environment that promotes healing and strives to provide convenient and intuitive way-finding to relieve anxiety for each guest.
