With the addition of the Ronnie Green Heart Center, an Intensive Care Coronary Unit, and the W.D. Stribling Heart Clinic, an Outpatient Facility, Northeast Georgia Medical Center has moved forward in making complete coronary care available in two adjacent buildings. The Green Center provides seventeen beds for patients recovering form open-heart surgery and cardiac interventions, such as angioplasty and stent placement. The surgical area includes two open-heart surgery rooms with a medical prep room. The Stribling Clinic provides a complete range of diagnostic cardiac services, including vascular lab, cardiology lab with EKG and two procedure rooms, echo and stress testing and nuclear medicine.
