This addition facilitates three levels of patient needs including Minor, Observation and Acute Care units. In response to new concerns, the facility can be isolated to contain infectious disease concerns from the rest of the hospital. Self-contained decontamination rooms, which recoup the water and the air, are operated on separate systems to assure containment.

A prominent entry, which is enhanced by lighting in the evening, makes this an immediate visual upgrade to the campus and designates the space for emergency arrival.
