Part of the NE Georgia Health system, this facility serves the oncology needs of seven surrounding counties. The center provides radiation therapy, infusion therapy and chemotherapy, with spaces created to offer a pleasing environment to the patient. The facility contains linear accelerator and simulator rooms that are constructed into the hillside for radiation shielding. The chemo infusion room allows four patients to be treated simultaniously. The facility contains four exam rooms and offers post treatment and follow-up care. Services include community cancer education and clinical trials for new cancer treatments.
