This colonial design church with Palladian windows, generous use of painted millwork and rich detailing provides seating for 1200 in the Worship Center. The liturgical worship format directed the design team to include a large platform accommodating a processional party. The choir and church’s refurbished pipe organ are in a loft to the rear of the nave. Practically invisible audio and video capabilities ensures that technology does not become a distraction to worshippers. Almost unnoticed are two large retractable screens, a control booth discretely located in the loft, and a hidden catwalk above the ceiling.
